“This building will stretch over 1,300 feet tall, yet have a base only 60 feet wide, rising like an unstable pencil over a densely packed Manhattan neighborhood. Further, the developers are trying to build these high-cost, luxury apartments as cheaply as possible using a subcontractor with a history of workplace safety violations and ties to organized crime.”
