Members helping with HEART 9/11 to build homes for veterans in North Carolina

6 District Council members along with a strong workforce of FDNY are volunteering with HEART 9/11 for a veteran build in Denver, NC.  HEART 9/11 is partnering with Purple Heart Homes to frame a new 2,300 sq. ft., 1-1/2 story veteran home in 4 days.  HEART 9/11 volunteer manpower includes New York City Fire Department, New York City District Council of Carpenters, NAM Knights NC Chapters, Charlotte and Denver NC Fire Departments.  HEART 9/11 worked with Purple Heart Homes in Glastonbury, CT and Manchester, CT and looks forward to another successful build. This will be HEART 9/11’s 16th veteran home build. HEART 9/11 is proud to be serving the needs of our heroes.  Check out what they’ve accomplished today and check back to see their progress.
