The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America is one of our nation's oldest, largest and historically significant labor unions. The UBC was founded in 1881 and has led the fight for workers rights since then.

The UBC is comprised of hundreds of individual Locals, District Councils and larger Regional Councils that protect workers rights in both the United States and Canada. The UBC's leadership is elected by over five-hundred thousand union members and have been leaders in the labor movement for over 125 years.
