Women's Committee

The NYCDCC Women's Committee is New York‘s division of the international "Sisters in the Brotherhood." The Women's Committee meets on a quarterly basis to promote a network of active sisters within the Union. Local Union 608 Pipe and Drum Band

Since 2000, the Local 608 Pipe and Drum Band has been celebrating Irish heritage by keeping the traditional music alive. The band is open to union carpenters of all locals; for more information contact George Lamontagne at 516-582-4836.

United American Euro Club

Carpenters Latino Club

The Carpenters Latino Club aims to emphasize the importance of teamwork, unity and respect among our Hispanic carpenters.  They work to empower each member to achieve their full potential and have the opportunity to benefit from the education programs provided by the NYCDC & UBC.  They are visible in the New York City Puerto Rican Day Parade and help various charities throughout our city. Monthly meetings for 2010 will be held on the first Monday of each month at the District Council office at 395 Hudson Street, New York at 4:30 PM.
